i just got my 4000 from ebay for $80 popped it in my dfi inf. nf4x and it booted up no problems set to 13 muilti and its fine i plan on ocing just waiting for a new psu my wifes burned out and shes using the 4000's psu till the new one comes in im hoping to hit 3ghz and it shouldnt be an issue

Hey Superdude688, It's hard finding out any info about using the 5BU's on K8N's. I talked to MSI & ASUS, three techs say they won't work together. Glad to hear you did it, I've got a Athlon 64 M 3700+ AMN3700BKX5BU on the way for my K8N-NEO now.

gotta love this thing... even tho it cost me $200 on eBay haha... yes it is a Newark and yes it is 2.6GHz stock (13x multi 200 bus) so you can remove the question marks. Have it running in my ASUS K8N board right now... had to mod the heatsink retention thing to use my stock heatsink tho. And it didnt like running at the stock 13 x 200 for some reason, had to put it at something odd like 11.5 x 226. right now its at 11.5 x 252 = 2.9ghz stable :)
