This series of computer really sucks with the AMD Turion TL 52 CPU, especially with Windows Vista. Take forever to turn on this stupid computer and also to shut down. Whenever a programme is running, the computer freeze like hell...

This CPU funtionality depends of S.O.. In Vista is a disaster performance, but in Linux 64bits is a wonderfull machine.
Windows Vista is a fat big boy with hungry. Thanks

Fine for General Office and Home Apps

While not the fastest CPY and often packaged with an average peformance graphics solution, the processor does a nice job for most office, mobile entertainment (not gamer level) and internet apps. 31W package dissapation suggests only fair battery life... newer Turions are probably higher consumption/lower battery life... entry level performance and average mobile battery life... typical configs give less than 3 hours of battery life.

Will load Ubuntu (latest) when done with reflow and testing . These really stride when loaded with a true 64-bit OS. Here's hoping all of you find yours like I found mine, owned by a non-tech, left in a closet to wither, and to take it out, rework it to be a 64-bit media player
(hello Netflix, Hulu and the like.)
