SL365 Part Number

Is it boxed or not? on the page for SL365 is says "This is a boxed processor with an attached fan heatsink" Yet the part number would appear to conflict with that (This chip has 2 Stickers with the Compaq Brand name on it)

Response: According to Intel SL365 is a boxed processor. I guess it could be shipped both as a boxed and OEM processor.

i think your picture of this cpu is wrong ...

Response: The picure is correct. Early Pentium III enigneering samples were shipped in Pentium II packages.

I wonder if anyone knows, how much P3 500MHz can be overclocked. I saw there in the chart that maximum core temperature could be 90°C.

This was one of the early P3's but it was one of the best. I used it in my desktop until 2004 and didnt let me down the entire period I had it.It was expensive at launch but it lasted me for a long time because of how well engineered and durable it was
