2.0 vs. 1.8 Willamette

I installed a 2.0/256/400 to improve the performance of a D530 in the D5D form factor. I really didn't notice an improvement in most parameters, but I did note that the fan is working harder and more often. I used the stock cooler setup which is not the state of any art. Still, the 2.0 is stable, is readily available, and it gives the bragging rights to say the PC was never delivered with a CPU this fast. I think the main problem is the 256K cache with the PC133 Ram being the next bottleneck....
