One of the first Haswell-based Pentium products for mobile market will be Intel 3550M, a dual-core processor with very basic set of features and standard power consumption. First details of this CPU surfaced on Intel's website in June 2013, and so far we only know for sure that it will operate at 2.3 GHz and have SR1HD S-spec number. While we couldn't find other processor's specs yet, we suspect that they will be similar to Ivy Bridge Pentiums. Since Haswell microarchitecture is a few percent faster than Ivy Bridge architecture at the same frequency, we estimated that CPU performance of the 3550M should be between Pentium 2020M and 2030M. In games and 3D applications the 3550M is likely to be faster than any Ivy Bridge-based mobile Pentium. The microprocessor is planned to be released in September 2013.

On September 1 in Asian region, and on September 29 everywhere else, Intel is going to introduce Core i3 and Pentium Haswell CPUs, along with several Ivy Bridge budget parts. Full list of forthcoming desktop CPUs was published by VR-Zone Chinese edition a week ago, and now they revealed processor numbers and launch dates of future mobile processors.

New Intel mobile Haswell CPUs spotted
Jun 21, 2013: Two weeks ago Intel launched Haswell mobile processors, including 11 mainstream "M", "MQ" and "MX" SKUs, 5 "HQ" models with Iris Pro graphics, and 14 ultra low-power systems-on-chip. During the course of 2013 the company plans to expand their Haswell Core lineup to 47 different SKUs. Yesterday Intel published a Product Change Notification (PCN), that revealed processor numbers and frequencies of some future CPUs. The document also disclosed a few details on Haswell-based Celeron and Pentium products.
