News

New mobile Pentium and Core CPUs are now available
Oct 05, 2012: At the beginning of September Intel added three Core i7 and two mobile Celerons to official price list, and later published specifications of a Pentium B980 in their ARK product database. All six CPUs were part of a bigger refresh of performance and budget mobile market segments, that was scheduled for the end of Q3 and/or beginning of Q4 2012. This week Intel introduced six more mobile SKUs, thus completing the refresh.



Intel to launch Pentium 997 ULV CPU in Q4
Sep 17, 2012: We previously reported on mobile Intel Pentium microprocessors, coming at the end of Q3 or at the beginning of Q4 2012. The new CPUs are a mix of Sandy Bridge-based 987 and B980, and Ivy Bridge-based 2020M and 2117U chips. In addition to these models, later this year Intel will also launch ultra low voltage SKU with processor number 997.
