SCAMP (EI Australia)

Hey Westaust55, do you have a picture of your board? I fell in love with the SCAMP after seeing the Ad's that were run Australian Electronic's Mags ('77). I came so close to buying one. I was only 13 and saved like a Demon. Unfortunately when I went into the ACORN office in Sydney (Waitarra) the techs clowned around - end result was my ol' man stated they _were_ clowns and refused to let me buy the kit.

Damn that was a sad day. Hence I would love to see your kit. email: mek@iinet.net.au

SCMP based evaluation kit

An evaluation kit based upon the NS SCMP processor (INS8060D) was available in 1975 in Australia (may have been earlier release in the US).
I added an extra 1kB of memory to mine and added I/O in the form of 8 switches for input and 8 LED's for output plus a few other switches and LED's.
