News

Feb 14, 2011: With the launch of new socket 1366 microprocessors today, Intel also cut prices on several Core i7 and Xeon models.

Aug 17, 2010: Yesterday, we posted a story about upcoming Xeon W3670 microprocessor. In this story we speculated that the W3670 will be launched within a month, and possibly at the end of this month. We must admit that we were wrong about possible launch date, because the processor is already available. Today Intel added Xeon W3670 to ARK database, and the database currently shows processor's status as "Launched".

Aug 16, 2010: Intel plans to release the second Xeon 3600 series CPU with processor number W3670. According to stories, published as early as April and May of this year, the W3670 was expected in the third quarter 2010. A few days ago the Xeon W3670 appeared on one of Intel's distributor sites, and that's a good indication that the processor will be launched within a month.
