  • The i5-2430M has Hyper-Threading technology, which allows this CPU to run twice as many threads.
  • Operating frequency of the Intel i5-2430M is higher than the frequency of the AMD E1-1200 processor.
  • The microprocessor has SSE4.1 and SSE4.2 instructions enabled.
  • The Core i5-2430M CPU includes AES, or Advanced Encryption Standard, extension to the instruction set. These instructions provide hardware acceleration of AES encryption and decryption, and are beneficial if you run applications, that secure your disk or network data.
  • The i5-2430M microprocessor supports AVX instructions. Even though these extensions are not extensively used in programs yet, their support should improve in future applications.
