  • The CPU features F16C, FMA3 and XOP instructions, introduced in the recent past. These extensions are not broadly used by applications yet, however this should improve in future programs.
  • The AMD A8-4500M supports FMA4 instruction set extension. The FMA4 technology is only available on AMD processors, therefore it probably will not get broad support from software vendors.
