  • The CPU comes with higher operating frequency than the Core i7-2640M microprocessor.
  • The processor includes F16C instructions, that were introduced in modern processors not too far ago. Even though these extensions are not widely used by programs yet, their support should improve in future apps.
  • The CPU works in Socket G2. The processor can be removed from the socket without trouble for replacement or upgrade.
