Intel Core i7-4770
  • The i7-4770 features AVX2, F16C and FMA3 instructions, that were introduced in the recent past. These extensions are not broadly supported by programs yet, but this should improve in future apps.
  • The Core i7-4770 has on-chip HD 4600 GPU. While this graphics is not fast enough to play latest games at full resolution, it can be used for casual gaming and 3D applications.
  • The CPU is 35% more energy efficient.
  • The official price of the processor is considerably lower than the price of the Intel i7-4820K CPU.

  • The microprocessor comes with higher base frequency than the i7-4770 processor.
  • The CPU is not "locked". The microprocessor can be freely overclocked on most motherboards when better performance is required. Be aware that overclocking voids warranty of the processor.
