AMD A10-4600M advantages

This processor incorporates FMA4 and XOP instructions, that were introduced in the recent past. Even though these extensions are not extensively used by applications yet, their support should improve in future programs.
The A10-4600M CPU includes FMA3 instruction set extension. Only AMD microprocessors have this technology, therefore not many software vendors may support it in the future.
The microprocessor has 22% lower power consumption than the Intel Core i7-3610QM.

The Intel i7-3610QM processor integrates Hyper-Threading feature, which doubles the number of threads that the microprocessor can process at once.
