AMD A10-4600M advantages

The AMD A10-4600M comes with higher operating frequency than the Core i7-3612QM microprocessor.
The CPU features FMA4 and XOP instructions, introduced in the recent past. These extensions are not widely used by programs yet, however this should improve in future apps.
The processor has FMA3 instruction set extension. The FMA3 technology is only offered on AMD CPUs, therefore not many software vendors may support it in the future.

Intel Core i7-3612QM advantages

The Intel i7-3612QM CPU includes Hyper-Threading feature, which allows each CPU core to process two threads at once.
