AMD A6-4400M advantages

  • The A6-4400M comes with higher operating frequency than the Intel i3-3110M.
  • The A6-4400M supports AES technology, that provides AES encryption acceleration. The technology is valuable if you need to secure your disk or network data.
  • FMA3 and XOP instructions are enabled on this CPU. These extensions are not broadly supported by applications yet, however their support should improve in future programs.
  • The microprocessor has FMA4 instruction set extension enabled. The FMA4 technology is only offered on AMD CPUs, therefore not many software vendors may support it in the future.
  • The processor works in Socket FS1 (FS1r2). The microprocessor can be easily removed from the socket for upgrade or replacement.

  • The Core i3-3110M CPU includes Hyper-Threading feature, which allows this processor to execute twice as many threads.
