AMD A8-4500M advantages

The AMD A8-4500M has more CPU cores than the i5-3210M. Large number of cores helps this microprocessor to tackle many tasks or threads at once.
The A8-4500M includes FMA4 and XOP instructions, that appeared in modern CPUs not too far ago. Although these extensions are not widely used by programs yet, their support should improve in future apps.
The CPU has FMA3 instruction set extension enabled. Only AMD CPUs offer this technology, thus not many software vendors may support it in the future.

Intel Core i5-3210M (PGA) advantages

The processor comes with higher operating frequency than the A8-4500M CPU.
