The Dothan core was introduced on May 10, 2004. This core is based on mobile microarchitecture.
New core features:
0.09 micron manufacturing process
Front Side Bus frequency was increased to 533 MHz
The size of L2 cache was increased to 2 MB
Execute disable bit feature
Identification of microprocessors with Dothan core:
By part number: Part number contains 80536.
For example: RH80536GE0462M
By CPU ID: First two letters of CPU identification number are "6D".
Celeron M microprocessors have modified Dothan
cores that include 512 KB or 1 MB of level 2 cache memory.
To distinguish these cores from Dothan core with 2 MB L2 cache the Celeron M
cores are often called Dothan-512 and Dothan-1024 (Dothan-1M).
