AMD Llano core
AMD Llano core was introduced in June 2011, when AMD launched
"Sabine" mobile platform along with the first seven dual- and quad-core
mobile APUs with Llano core. Shortly afterwards, at the beginning of
July, the company introduced first desktop "Llano" APUs. The
core is based on "Stars" (K10) cores, and is manufactured on 32nm
process. New core features:
- Integrated Graphics Processing Unit and Unified Video
Decoder.
- Turbo Core (on some models)
- 0.032 micron technology
AMD microprocessors with Llano core can be identified by:
- Part number: part number starts with "AD", "AM", "ED", "EM"
or "SD" and ends with "GX" or "HX".
An example: AD641XWNZ43GX.
- CPU ID: At this time (December 2011), Llano APUs have CPUID
300F10.
