AMD Athlon Thorton core

Identification of microprocessors with Thorton core:

  • By part number: part numbers start with "AXDC" or "SDC" prefix.
    An example: SDC2400DUT3D
  • By CPU ID: First two digits of CPU identification number are "6A". Please note that processors with Thorton core have the same CPUID as the Barton core. The difference between these two cores is in the size of L2 cache. Thorton core has 256 KB L2 cache, while the Barton core has 512 KB.
