Dynamic FSB Frequency Switching

Dynamic FSB frequency switching cuts the frequency of internal FSB clock in half, which effectively reduces current CPU internal frequency in half. This feature is used by Enhanced SpeedStep technology to lower processor's power consumption. If the Dynamic FSB frequency switching feature is available, the Enhanced SpeedStep technology uses it when switching from Low Frequency Mode (LFM) to Super Low Frequency Mode (SLFM). In SLFM mode the CPU runs at half of FSB and LFM's core frequencies, and has lower core voltage than in the LFM mode.
