Minimum/Maximum power dissipation
Maximum power dissipation is the maximum power dissipated by
the CPU under the worst conditions - at the maximum core voltage,
maximum temperature and maximum signal loading conditions. Maximum
Power dissipation is always higher than
Thermal Design
Power.
Minimum power dissipation that is mentioned on many CPU pages
on this site is the power dissipated by the processor when the
processor is switched into one of low-power modes, usually the low
power mode that offers best power-savings.
