I've made a few enhancements to AMD stepping code pages: - Pages for K7, K8 and K10 stepping codes now link to individual code pages.
- Individual stepping code pages now include links to related stepping codes.
- Core stepping is now displayed on K7, K8, K10 pages, individual stepping code pages, and "AMD package numbers" page.
- When stepping code is identified by the Identification tool, the tool displays core stepping for the code, and includes a link to the stepping code page.

I've made a few changes that should make the site feel faster. It's still takes approximately the same amount of time to fully load the pages, but the pages should start rendering faster, which creates an impression of faster site. Accessing second, third and so on pages should be faster too. The change was made all S-Spec and stepping codes pages, many CPU pages, and CPU-World front page.

CPU-World website has moved to new server today. The new server is much faster than the old one, as a result site's tools and the forum should feel more responsive now. Some scripts, such as site search and CPU Chart, will be modified in near future to take advantage of extra memory, and that, hopefully, will make them even faster.

Historical price charts were added for Core Solo, Core Duo, Celeron, Celeron M, Pentium M, Celeron Dual-Core, Pentium Dual-Core and Pentium D processors. I have only a few Intel price lists for 2006 and 2007 years, therefore some Celeron M, Pentium M and Pentium D CPUs may have prices just for one or two dates dates. If anybody has Intel price lists for 2007 or earlier years, please drop me an e-mail.

I created HTML pages for all AMD stepping codes. Each stepping code page includes a list of families, cores and packages related to the code, as well as full listing of all date code / part number combinations, that we have for the stepping code in our database. All AMD K7, K8 and K10 CPU pages were modified to link to appropriate stepping codes. As an example, see how it looks on Phenom II X4 940 CPU page.

I'm going to change the way how CPU collection images are uploaded to the site. Before, I always uploaded a batch of pictures for one family. This usually involved manual scaling and watermarking the images, and manual inclusion of images to appropriate CPU pages. One such update could take a few hours of my time. Starting from today, all pictures from my CPU collection will be added similar to "Add Comment" picture upload. That should save lot of my time, and it will allow me to upload the pictures almost daily. Uploaded collection pictures will be displayed in the "Latest Comments" box on the front page. Eventually they will be moved into separate section on the front page.

Quick update on CPUID data and benchmarks that were uploaded in the past two weeks. We now have data on Pentium E6500 and 6500K, Celeron E3200 and E3300, Phenom II x4 945 (95 Watt) and non-Black Edition 955, Athlon II X3 425 and 435, Intel Core 2 Duo T6500, Celeron M 585, and a few others. I also re-tested almost all socket M processors.

Package size, that was usually listed in the "Package" field, will be eventually moved to separate "Size" field. See Core I7-860 page for an example on how the CPU pages are going to look with new fields.
