Minor update of Pentium S-Spec pages and Intel Pentium III S-spec pages - I fixed links for processor parts number so they now point to new pages.

Jan 29

Intel Pentium III CPU family was reorganized. The processors are now grouped by order number instead of chip markings. S-spec pages linking to Pentium III family will be updated in the next few days. Some links to benchmark comparison page are broken now - they'll be fixed in the near future.

I created "Mobile Pentium MMX" section on the Intel Pentium CPU family page and added 6 mobile processors to it. Featured processor is a 120 MHz TT80503120 - the slowest Pentium MMX CPU. I didn't have time tonight to update information on this and other Mobile MMX microprocessors, I'm going to add it in the next few days.

I re-organized a section with FC-PGA processors on the Intel Celeron page. The microprocessors were grouped by part number instead of by processor markings, and the section was split into two sections with Coppermine and Tualatin processors.

Jan 22

I updated information on processors: Microsystems International 8008, MOS 6502, National Semiconductors GX1 and Intel Xeon.

Jan 18

I added a System-on-a-Chip page. The first SoC family presented there is GS32i - low-power highly-integrated 32-bit microprocessor from China.

Forum design was updated. I also added "Quick Search" feature to the forum.

Jan 10

The forum now has two RSS feeds: discussion forums and for sale/trade forums. The feeds currently display poster's name, thread name and thread title. The Firefox 1.5 should automatically discover these feeds, you only need to add them to live bookmarks.

I reorganized Intel Pentium CPU family (grouped processors by part number), and added 4 Pentium and Pentium MMX overdrive processors. Any external links to Pentium processors should be redirected to new pages.

Intel
Pentium overdrive 133

Intel Pentium overdrive 125 - PODP3V125
Intel Pentium overdrive 133 - PODP5V133
Intel Pentium MMX overdrive 150 - PODPMT60X150
Intel Pentium MMX overdrive 166 - PODPMT66X166

I updated design of S-Spec index pages. Now all S-spec index pages have a search feature that looks for S-Spec numbers only within current family. I found minor problems with a search script. For example, when you search for speed "500" the script won't find processors that have speed specified as "700/500". These problems will be fixed eventually.

Jan 3

I started new series of pages - Microprocessor core names. Currently there is only information on 4 AMD K7 core names (from Pluto to Palomino).
