How do I check if this is a good buy since this seller was one of the links on that first page of this thread?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-Core-Duo-T2450-2-0-GHz-CPU-2MB-533-SLA4M-/280554538353?pt=CPUs&hash=item41525a8571#rpdId

It's a good seller. I bought a few mobile processors from him before, and all of them worked.

a forum member asked me about this SL24R if genuine or not

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140521065593+#ht_2839wt_825

I messaged back the following reasons why i believed it was a remark

the horizontal strok of the 4 doesn't appear to cross over
the middle stroke in INTEL is too long
the space between '92 & '93

then I realised I missed the most obvious Laughing

and ICOMP2 was not used until week 41 1996

price is high, but just in case someone tries a BO seeing SL26Q is a very uncommon sSpec

most likely a remarked 166MHz

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-SL26Q-Pentium-MMX-200-MHz-/150650589448?pt=CPUs&hash=item2313799108#ht_3973wt_1035

pretty good fake this one Shocked

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Intel-Pentium-MMX-Q019-ES-SAMPLE-CPU-166MHz-/190587917656?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c5fecd558#ht_1377wt_796

from previous info it is known that this was not just remarked to a higher speed, but also an earlier stepping than it should be was used
