I updated interesting ebay auctions database ( http://www.cpu-world.com/cgi-bin/BrowseEAuctions.pl ) and noticed that prices of Intel 4004 in plastic package have gone up.
....I guess it's a good time to sell spare P4004 chips Smile
Gennadiy

I'm pleased I just sold a P4004 for $122 to an Ebay buyer in SZCZECIN, Poland.
Not that long ago C4004's could be found for $200-300. Surprised

OMG! I knew I had sold a lot of chips for less than some people think they're worth, but didn't realise I had ripped myself off that badly!

Last February P4004s were selling as low as $30 per chip, but their price went up to $100+ in June. It dropped in the fall, but still, in November, when you sold your P4004 processors, you could get 2.5x - 3x times as much on eBay.

Intel C8087-2 for $51:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item27c488b250&item=170801017424

That's probably the most expensive C8087-2 chip sold in the past few years.

That graphics card was well overpriced. From his description, it sounds like it has been volt modded by an extreme overclocker, rather than being the prototype he claimed it to be, meaning it is not even in the opriginal condition!

I have noticed that same new buyer with the feedback rating of (1) bidding high on a number of other auctions lately as well
