They were in the bottom drawer.
I'm going to keep one of each but don't need most of them. They are mostly eproms, support chips and memory, no CPU. What is the best way to value them? I see the for sale and trade boards here, but don't know what a reasonable asking price is. If I post a list of part numbers and date codes would that be useful? I can imagine that having the whole chipset to go with a 4004 or 8080 would be something a collector would find interesting, so is it best to sell those as a batch? |

Please post the data printed on the chips. So every collector can see what they are.
I'm interested in supportchips _________________ i440BX |

It May pay you to carefully remove them from that old Black Foam before they catch the Black Death _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |

Black Death... Sounds bad. Is it contagious?
I've pulled some of the larger chips from the old foam and put them into new anti-static foam.
The old foam in some cases is sticking a bit to the pins. Does this injure the chips? |

yes, that is the beginning of black death, it will stick to the pins and corrode them till they break off or are otherwise destroyed, very bad _________________ ***I Aim to Misbehave.***
Some where out there . There's a bullet with your name on it .....
Trick is, to die of old age before it finds you.

Probably not as flashy as the first set, but maybe someone could use them if building out a replica board.
