Really rare east German plastic EPROM U552D = 1702. So it is the only known 1702-EPROM in plastic package. The EPROM was made but failed the quality inspections. It was not possible to tighten up the package enough. Note: Even the window is made of plastic! I received this EPROM from a former employe of FWE / MME. icon_blink

Here is a rarity.

National Semiconductor MM57109 One of the first members of the COP400 family. the 57109 is called by National a Number Oriented Processor. Its essentially a FPU/Calculator chip with CPU like functions (though in reality its best described as a co-processor.

Its closest analog at the time was the AMD AM9511

I got this chip recently.

From the part number, it seems to be an 8-bit microprocessor/microcontroller, but I was not able to find a datasheet. Does anybody have information on this chip?

Thanks,

yy2013

Very cool, markings are like a IMP-16, so maybe similar?
