hi
i have a chance to buy them cheap for 39$ all is working
but i can't find out what cpu's they are born with
the seller said that the IBM 701C has a DX4 75SL in it..
anybody know what cpu's they are born with?
IBM 701C (BUTTERFLY)
COMPAQ 430C
IBM755C
TOSHIBA - TECRA 520CDT

According to HMM CPU was either 486DX2-50 or 486DX4-75 |

| I love those little IBM (BUTTERFLY) laptops. I had a chance to buy one for 25.00 but didnt have cash on me at the time. I will be intersted in what you find inside. |

i had a IBM 701C butterfly,
i pulled out a FC80486DX4-75

well toke two apart for now:
IBM 701C (BUTTERFLY) has a FC80486DX4-75 sx870
IBM 755C has a FC80486DX4-75 sk052
COMPAQ 430C has a FC80486DX4-100 sk053
TOSHIBA - TECRA 520CDT don't know yet

| Just for the record: The Toshiba Tecra CDT 520 has a Pentium MX 166 Mobile processor, Tape carrier packaging soldered onto a proprietary board including the Toshiba Northbridge |
