This chip was taken from old laptop.
But SX653 - it's A80502-90

Hi,
are you sure this chip was taken from a laptop? The pins seem to be never soldered.
IMHO it could be a fake to fool the collectors. |

btw the yellowish letter looks odd...like bad photoshop work

I've been pulling a bunch of 486 in this packaged out of laptops all week and all have that look to them. Looks like the real deal to me. |

Not sure I dont really collect 386/486. Just happened to have been desoldering a bunch this week for trade. One of the 386 collectors around here may have some ideas. Cool chip though  |

Just like the S-Specs "SL23M", intel reused the S-Specs for another new generation cpu.

Some QDF number were also re-used - Q040, Q607, QZ51, Q174, Q436, Q619.

Yes, I'm sure - I pulled out this chip yesterday. About pins - just a heat gun in the right hands Laptop model - Zenith Data Systems Z-lite 320L. |
