Ok But i am sure i have more non x86 than i do of the x86 cpus. Thanks for the answers
Most of my x86 cpus are common ones as well so ill see if theres anything i can even add to the database. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E.

started adding in my collection
been great so far, only one small hiccup where it attached the same pic to two different cpus.
i ended up manually changing the file name and then it was happy
at this rate it will probably take me at least a month to add my whole collection
thx a lot Mixeur _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

be cool if it supported 2 pics per CPU, then you could have front and back pics.
When researching various CPU's not having the markings from the back is very frustrating _________________ ***I Aim to Misbehave.***

it does support two pics
but i have decided for most, just to do the one only for now
mainly to save bandwidth, but i am going to add in the comments section, the text on the bottom _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Strange. What was the name of the pic ? and the cpus ?
Thanks.
PS : I will change the collection page to avoid showing "No picture" image on back photo when there is only top image uploaded. It will look nicer for your collection, I think. _________________ Register on x86-guide.com to manage and share your collection on-line !

Agreed!
Is there a way to migrate Excel data to my collection list?
This would save countless hours of re-entering chip data, if it's possible! |

In Pentiums, my collection is also made up of variations in markings.
So i might have a multiple of the same part number. Like iComp and iComp2 or i75 & iPP on the die cap or A80502-100 & A80502100 in the same sSpec.
It isnt obvious in the main listing, but i note it in the comments section along with the base markings.

added SL22M icomp >> bp120_sl22m.jpg
then SL22M iComp2 >> bp120_i2_sl22m.jpg
when i added the second pic it had attached also to the first SL22M
i deleted the pic on the first and it deleted also the second
manually added correct file name for first and it relinked automatically.
then had to uploaded a new second pic, thinking the file name was the prob, i changed the second pic to bp120i2_sl22m.jpg
this isnt a problem as the correct information is updated >> when i edit one in the database it tells me that i have successfully updated a different cpu filename.
for example i edited box 75 gold cap and it tells i have successfully updated the AMD 486-66 in the database

Yes that would be great, thanks
Can you change Irland to Ireland in the database, please
it would be nice if a short comments section showed up under "Functional State' section, where i a comment like BP80502-100/BP80502100 or iComp/iComp2/No iComp or (TM)/(R) would show to make it obvious the difference without going into the individual cpu page. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

I know that issue. I will correct it tonight. It will be easy because I already corrected same issue for first cpu entering.

Yes I was thinking about that. I have to try to see if the design can support many lines like there could be in the comment. _________________ Register on x86-guide.com to manage and share your collection on-line !

It is possible depending on your excel file columns and content. I already made that for entering huge amount of sspec and partnumbers.
Send me your file by e-mail and I will see what is possible to be done. _________________ Register on x86-guide.com to manage and share your collection on-line !
