Do these chips have any value to any of you collectors out there? they are brand new, Intel 8085A-2, from 1976.
If anyone wants them, make me an offer, I have no use for them.
Thanks.

Is it plastic or ceramic? and is it a c8086 or a d8086? _________________ "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal." A.E.

Well if its plastic is a p8086, and again it pretty common worth maybe 10-15 dollars. If it was a c8086 I would give you a few hundred dollars for it. _________________ "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal." A.E.

Yea those are eproms, 27hc256, pretty common eprom, but I cant say I regognize the manufacturer. However I dont by any means consider myself an expert on that. Looks like a production date of around 1988. Probly not worth too much as there arent too many collectors of eproms. But Cpushack , who is a member here might want one or two of them. I think he might have the largest collection of eproms ive seen so far. _________________ "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal." A.E.

Ok, thanks for all your help. Do you have any interest in buying all these chips? I'll give you a good package deal, and throw in a bunch of other stuff that I have no idea what it is, but there could be something interesting in the lot. Here's what I have:
The 8086, 8085A and EPROM pictured
two brand new D8254 from 1980
2 new P8255A-5 from 1977
a bunch of other smaller chips. |
