I'm pleased I just sold a P4004 for $122 to an Ebay buyer in SZCZECIN, Poland.
Not that long ago C4004's could be found for $200-300. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

OMG! I knew I had sold a lot of chips for less than some people think they're worth, but didn't realise I had ripped myself off that badly! _________________ OMG, I finally found out what's wrong with my brain:

Last February P4004s were selling as low as $30 per chip, but their price went up to $100+ in June. It dropped in the fall, but still, in November, when you sold your P4004 processors, you could get 2.5x - 3x times as much on eBay.

That graphics card was well overpriced. From his description, it sounds like it has been volt modded by an extreme overclocker, rather than being the prototype he claimed it to be, meaning it is not even in the opriginal condition! _________________ OMG, I finally found out what's wrong with my brain:

I have noticed that same new buyer with the feedback rating of (1) bidding high on a number of other auctions lately as well _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |
