some of my colleagues at the failure analysis department did a very
well job to open a P4004
after my latest post with bad 4004 news I thought I should post some
nice stuff.

he did a excellent job of opening
seems there is an air-space around the die.. not standard in later plastic chips
with later ones... you need to grind down to trace wires, then dissolve the remaining plastic with hot sulphuric acid _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Cool pics! I never fail to be amazed at what some collectors do with their chips, and the tools some of you have to do it with  _________________ OMG, I finally found out what's wrong with my brain:
