@ Neon_WA yeah, I hope you get some of the ALRs. I would also pay 30$ for an ALR and I would buy 4 pieces, if possible
Would be great if you can arrange something with the stores
I will have a look to my AMD collection, maybe I find a CPU you need |

I'm still chasing a good price from the online computer component sellers
Hopefully I can find also a source with a reasonable quantity.
Cant remember off-hand which ones.. but only certain chip-sets will work _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Neon_WA, nice stuff. One question - did you buy the DT from Ebay several months (maybe half a year) ago? I was bidding for it.
I've got the same ALR as yours. And waiting for Tyan M2020 soon. |

Hello Antinomy
great you got the Tyan M2020 now. Lets hack a BX board to get a PPro working on it.
btw - yesterday I received an Asus C-P6S1...yeahh. I traded it with a guy from the US, but I'm still interested to catch an ALR.
@white - the Pentium 2 OverDrive works on nearly each BX or LX board or Via Apollo 133 i.e. ASUS P2B, TYAN Tiger 133, ASUS P2L97 and many more
Pentium Pro CPUs work also on some LX boards, but only with very early BIOS versions:
ASUS P2L97-S - BIOS 0102S
ABIT LX6 - BIOS LX6_6Q; LX6_7H; LX6C_7Q and LX6C_7T
It is really wicked to use a socket 8 cpu with AGP grafix or SD-Ram...hehe
Cheers

Have you had a chat with fRaSsL ?
He knows what he is talking about when it comes to PPro, unlike many other people. |
