Why not creating some php script with an sql backend for all of us ?

Something called "chips-exchange.com" ?

Perhaps i can do that if I have some time.

i could do that, if it was really simple.

what would you have in mind? create an account, and then have a bunch of entries with info like manufacturer, front markings, back markings...

that'd be really easy to do. :p

nope, ive got a perfectly capable server here

im just not sure what id do with it.. at any rate i dont feel like investing the time in it right now, so if anyone else wants to do it, dont let me hold you back
