Hello Everyone Very Happy ,

Just learned of this forum and thought I would post this message.

I recycled some old computers but I took out various pieces of hardware.
I was wondering if you could tell me if there is any kind of market for these older processors? I looked on ebay, but was not very impressed with the results. Thanks for any info. I have the following...
*All of these still have the heatsinks on them

manufacturer/class/mhz/model/submodel core/country/©/remarks
Intel Pentium 75 A80502-75 SX969 Malaysia 92,93
Intel Pentium 100 A80502-100 SY007/SSS Malaysia 1992
Intel Pentium 60 A80501-60 SX948 Malaysia 92 gold top
Intel Pentium 166 A80502-166 SYO16/VSS Malaysia Acer Aspire

These two chip have the following identification... *All of these still have the heatsinks on them.
A4532264CB A4 08

Pentium 75, 100 and 166 are very common processors, these are usually sold for gold scrap ($1 per chip or less). Pentium 60 (gold top) is less common, and if it's in good condition it may be worth a few dollars.

These can be Intel 80486 processors. If you see "i66" or "i50" somewhere on the bottom of a chip then this is a 66 or 50 MHz processor. Try to remove the heatsinks - chip markings should be on the top.

Genna,

Thank you for the information. I'll take off the heatsinks and take a look.
