Thanks for the help, it seems like a really good site you people run here, I have registered....One more question about the Dell I have....Since it has a Slot 1 processor ( Currently I have a 500 MGZ Pentium 3 installed), and the FSB data from Dell says it runs at 100 MGZ, would there be any improvemnt or speed gain by putting , let's say, an 800 or 933 chip in, even if it runs at 100 FSB rather than the 133. I don't even know if this is possible or compatible, or if it would make any notable diffenence....Just trying to throw something a little bit faster together for my friend's kid, so they don't mess up Moma's PC...Thanks again for the help.. |

an 800 would run at 600
and a 933 at 700
so ya it would be a bit faster _________________ ***I Aim to Misbehave.***

Those faster processor have Coppermine core, so make sure that your motheroard supports that core.
