hi.
I've found my long-lost graphics card and after a short look I started wondering whether it was a Hercules or a monochrome card?
Tommorow I'll dig up the amber monitor that came with it and start it up (maybe).

It may no longer work, as there is nothing covering the window on the EPROM (which means the BIOS may have got erased over time exposed to light, especially if it has been in daylight or near any other source of UV).

Can you give the FCC ID? I can't read it from those pics, and it might help to identify it (it can possibly be found on the FCC archives...).

16MHz crystal indicates at least MGA/Hercules, jumpers may indicate CGA as well or they are for LPT port selection/LPT disable-enable. EPROM is not a BIOS but character generator instead.

64KB video RAM means that Hercules graphics is available.

It is:

Monochrome Graphic & Printer Card

Made by Winbond. FCC registration granted 07/23/1991

Hope this helpsyou Smile Unfortunately, although the FCC ID can often help identify what TYPE of product you have, it will generally not point you to documentation/drivers/manuals etc.

PS, don't worry about the picture quality. When I first joined the forums, it was a couple of years before I could even take a poor quality picture Smile

it's a GRAPHICS card so it's Hercules, right? Smile MDA didn't support any graphics, only text modes.
Gotta dig out that monitor someday see if it's still working with that eprom window uncovered
