I don't know what the diamond symbol means, but I am sure it's not milspec.
And certainly not rare, as the seller suggests, if he has 95 pairs left to sell at that low a price

It is milspec device. In addition on transistors prefix "1" means milspec for germanium, "2" for silicon. Normal spec device type would be GTS609B.
Iguana's transistor array KTS613B for example has normal spec silicon transistors. No rombic sign either. |

Indeed. For example K223TR1 is hybrid ECL logic. Even more interesting device is 240LA1A, made not from discrete transistors, but 156 series DTL logic chips in die form ie it is multichip hybrid. |

| Another cool hybrid. K230 series is also multichip circuit, TTL logic. The 231 series is similar but in RTL logic. |
