Recommended graphics cards for AMD dual-graphicsAMD's Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) integrate HD 6000 or HD 7000 graphics, that can work together with discrete Radeon graphics cards. When discrete and APU GPUs work in tandem, their combined performance is higher than performance of each individual discrete or APU graphics unit. This technology was branded by AMD as "Dual Graphics". Currently (May 2012), the technology works with desktop and mobile AMD APUs from A- and E2-Series families, however it has a few limitations. Dual Graphics works only with Direct X10 and Direct X11 graphics, and does not support Direct X9. Additionally, Dual Graphics is not supported on Windows XP and earlier operating systems. Finally, the technology works only with certain AMD graphics cards. The list of recommended discrete cards for each APU family is provided below. Model numbers of discrete AMD cards are displayed in the header of each table. If a specific card is supported by an APU series, then the table will show either '+', or model number of combined GPU, in a cell on the intersection of APU family row and discrete card column. Cards, that will work, but are not on the list of recommended combinations, are marked with '*' after the model number. "N/S" means that Dual Graphics is not supported. For easier visual representation we also used light red background for not supported combinations, and light green background for recommended combinations. really nice
I just bought an APU A6 5400K + 6670 DDR5 and it works really fine, but dont know if dual graphics or crossfire hybrid is working. And I bought a laptop with apu too A6 4455M but it doesnt appear here :S
