More notebooks with upcoming Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 processorsOn May 21 we posted specifications of new mobile microprocessors, as well as names of a few notebooks where these processors will be shipped. As more and more information about new notebooks with upcoming CPUs appears on the net, we decided to provide additional information in this news story. Our previous article mentioned Dell Studio 14 with Core i3-370M and i5-450M, i7-740QM, and i7-840QM CPUs. It appears that these processors will be also offered in Dell Studio 15 notebooks. Dell removed models of new microprocessors from Studio 15 customization page, but you can still see it in Google web cache: Dell Studio 15 customization page from Google cache Toshiba is planning at least 4 new notebooks with new mobile CPUs. X505-Q885 Black notebook, priced in the $1100 - $1200 range, will be offered with Intel Core i5-450M processor. Three other models, X505-Q887 Black, X505-Q888 Black and X505-Q890 Black, will feature Intel Core i7-740QM processor, and will be priced from from $1400 to $1800. ASUS A52 and K52-series notebooks will include currently available Pentium P6000, Core i3-370M, and Core i5-450M CPUs in addition to currently available Core i3 / i5 models. K42 laptop series consists of K52JC, K52JB, K52F, K52JK, and K52Jr notebooks, and A52 series is comprised of A52F, A52JB, A52JC, A52JK, A52Jr models.
