Details on AMD Athlon II X2 processors with C3 revision

First, the good news. Not only the lately released Athlon II microprocessors are available now for sale, but boxed versions of older Athlon II X3 and Athlon II X4 CPUs with C3 core revision have finally made it into stores. NewEgg currently sells three older models with C3 core:

ADX440WFGMBOX
ADX635WFGMBOX

However, not all old Athlon IIs will be converted from C2 to C3 core revision. We discovered two-month old AMD document, that sheds some light on what parts will be or may be available as boxed processors, which CPUs will be shipped as OEM only, as well as what processors will not be converted to C3 core.

Three older Athlon II X4 (C3) processors may be offered as OEM and boxed versions. These are models 605e, 630 and 635:

All older Athlon II X3 CPUs, with the exception of model 400e, may be offered with C3 core:

According to the document, there won't be boxed versions of Athlon II X2 microprocessors with C3 core. Only OEM versions of Athlon II X2 240e, 245, 250, 255, B22 and B24 will be available.

Single-core Athlon II family had only one CPU with C2 core revisions - model 160u. That model may be also offered with C3 core:

Update (June 6): The processors are gone from Newegg. Provantage.com has on special order all three models referenced in the story.

Update (June 7): Provantage.com now has ADX630WFGMBOX on special order in addition to three other C3 boxed microprocessors.

Update (June 22): Provantage has ADX635WFGMBOX and ADX440WFGMBOX models in stock. Buy.com and Amazon now have ADX635WFGMBOX in stock.
