NVidia GeForce GTX 680 may be released in FebruaryThere has been a lot of conflicting information, mostly originating from a small number of leaks, about NVidia Kepler GPUs and their release dates. A source at Chiphell now says the flagship single-GPU cards will be released in February, before AMD can dominate the market with the HD 79x0 series 28nm cards. Performance projections indicate that the two GPU platforms will provide similar performance, so who gets to dominate this generation of GPU will be determined by who can provide the best drivers and the best product availability. The source, a Chiphell forum member who is usually reliable with his graphics card leaks, says the GTX 680 will operate at 780 MHz, and will sport 2 GB of memory. This is all we know so far, and is still only rumors. Related News (newer articles):
