Radeon HD 7750 and HD 7770 Available for Pre-OrderAMD's Cape Verde graphics cards, Radeon HD7770 and HD7750, are available for pre-order at US retailers. Full specs (including the number of compute units and stream processors) are not listed, but the listings show that recent rumors of GPU clock speed were correct. Radeon HD 7770 will have a core speed of 1000MHz, and Radeon HD 7750 will operate at 800 MHz, with factory overclocked models immediately available from various manufacturers. Radeon HD 7770 models that we have seen have a factory overclock of 1020 MHz. The stock memory clock is 4500 MHz, although some overclocked models have it running at 4600 MHz. We expect to see models with a higher GPU clock than 1020 MHz. Recent rumors have suggested that there are 10 compute units, giving 640 stream processors and 40 texture units. The rumored TDP is 80W. Pre-order pricing ranges from $175 to $186. Radeon HD7750 also comes in pre-overclocked models, and once again they are all we have seen at retailers we have checked. Clock speeds range from 820 MHz to 830 MHz, with memory clock running at 4500 MHz (stock) and 4600 MHz (overclocked). Rumors say that there are 8 compute units, leading to 512 stream processors and 32 texture units. Rumored TDP is 55W. Pre-order pricing ranges from $132 to $150. Both models have 1 x D-Sub output, 1 x DVI and 1 x HDMI. HD 7750 has 1 x DisplayPort, and HD 7770 has 2. They will be officially available for purchase on February 15. Related News (newer articles):
