Details of Intel Core i3-2377M CPUIn the first half of this year Intel transitioned their performance Core families, comprised of Core i5 and Core i7, to Ivy Bridge microarchitecture. It seems that Core i3 mobile family will be transitioned slightly differently. The company already released two Ivy Bridge Core i3 mobile processors, but they are also planning to launch several Sandy Bridge chips. In the past we reported on Core i3-2308M, i2-2328M and i3-2365M SKUs, expected later this year. We recently learned that there will be also Core i3-2377M in Q3 2012. With the exception of 100 MHz higher clock speed, the Core i3-2377M is almost identical to i3-2367M. The 2377M incorporates 2 CPU cores, and can handle 4 threads simultaneously with the help of Hyper-Threading technology. The chip has 3 MB L3 cache, HD 3000 graphics and DDR3 memory controller on a chip. Integrated GPU is clocked at 350 MHz, and it can be boosted as high as 1 GHz. Memory controller supports DDR3-1333 memory. Standard features on this and other Core i3 processors are SSE4 and AVX instructions, and Virtualization technology. Unlike Core i3-2308M and i3-2365M models, the 2377M supports Small Business Advantage features. The processor has 17 Watt TDP, and it is aimed at thin and light notebooks, and ultrabooks. Core i3-2377M was planned for this quarter, however at this time we're not sure whether it was launched or not. Although the chip is referenced on this page on Intel's website, it's not in Intel's product database. At the same time, the CPU is already shipped in many notebooks. For example, HP offers it in ENVY Sleekbook 4t-1000. Toshiba sells it in Satellite U845-S402 laptop. Acer ultrabooks with this CPU are available on Amazon. For instance, Acer TimelineU M5-481T-6670 with 14" screen, 500 GB hard disk and 6 GB RAM is offered for $649.99. Related News (newer articles):

One slight mistake: "Core i7-2377M" should be "Core i3-2377M" at the beginning of the second paragraph.
Am I right that the product should be launched in Q3, is not in their product-database, but is shipped in laptops already?
I fixed it, thank you!
Yes, you're right.
