New Intel i3-3227U and i5-3337U ULV CPUs spottedIntel mobile lineup is going to be refreshed with several mainstream and ULV dual-core processors in the first quarter 2013. According to a slide, leaked three months ago, we will see Core i7-3540M, Core i5-3340M and i5-3380M processors with 35 Watt TDP, and ultra-low voltage Core i7-3687U and i5-3437U parts for ultrabooks. We think that the refresh will include two additional ULV processors, Core i3-3227U and i5-3337U. These processors were spotted in specifications of Toshiba Satellite U920t-10P and Satellite U840W-10T notebooks. Based on details, included in notebook tech specs, Core i3-3227U and i5-3337U CPUs will be clocked one bin (100 MHz) higher than the i3-3217U and i5-3317U, launched in June of this year. Core i3-3227U will be shipped in Satellite U920t-10P laptop. The chip is going to operate at 1.9 GHz, and it will lack Turbo Boost technology. Core i5-3337U SKU will be clocked 100 MHz lower, at 1.8 GHz, however the Turbo Boost feature will be able to "overclock" it as high as 2.7 GHz. The CPU will be available in Toshiba Satellite U840W-10T notebook. Both i3 and i5 microprocessors will come with 3 MB L3 cache, and integrate HD 4000 graphics. We presume that they will also support Hyper-Threading technology, and have 17 Watt TDP. Source: Toshiba (Satellite U920t-10P), Toshiba (Satellite U840W-10T) Related News (newer articles):
