Part number:
The part number on this CPU is FV80503266
It would seem Intel dont acknowledge this chip's existance- can only find SL2ZH on their CPU id facility!
?embedded
I have a Lifetec laptop (LT 9886)with SL2Z4 cpu, this is nt an embedded system is it?!
I also have this CPU.
I pulled one out of a old Compaw Persario 1207 laptop.
I've one in my Vobis/Highscreen LeBook.
No idea how does it find the way in there.
Mobile CPU?!
i've got one of those.
bought it for one of my Super Socket 7 Boards for Overclocking ;)
however.. on my Tekram P5MVP-A4 (ATX Super Socket 7 Board with AGP and SD-RAM) it's recognized by the BIOS as a "Tillamook MMX CPU at 266MHz" with the default FSB/Multiplicator.
Problem is that the board extremely overvolts it.
default VCore is 1.9V but the board almost lights it on fire with a whopping 3.6V !!! :O
(measured with a DMM on the MOSFETs)
so far i managed to get 400MHz out of it (100x4) easily, because the board is already overvolting. i'll try to test it on one of my other Boards later ;)
BTW: this is going to be my High-End Win98SE gaming rig with a GeForce 2 GTS AGP (32MB DDR) and 2 identical 3Dfx Voodoo II 12MB in SLI Mode :D
I own one.
I have a built super socket 7 with one of these cpus. For correct voltage Gigabyte GA-5AX Rev 4.1 or 5.0 rare boards. I have bolth boards. I use the tillamook in the rev 4.1 becouse its supports very low voltage rates same as rev 5 than eny other super 7. I have 128mb ram sdram and voodoo 3 3000 tv out agp and a vibra 16 card. I built one for classic reasons like old days of old gaming. I love this chip. I use at the exact processor speed 266 mhz and voltage 1.9 volts.
