Upgrade
These are great replacements for aging 400Mhz Bus P4 systems, and can allow them to run modern operating systems. These processors can sometimes be found on eBay for under $20. Only the SL7EY is faster at 2.8.
Brought life back to my Trigem Dublin Emachines T4160 / T4165. No bios upgrade needed. The processor passed all night burn in with no throttling or issues.
