will it work on dell latitude c640

i wonder if a dell latitude c640 will support this speed, i seems likely because it is 4000mhz 512cache, and chipset on laptop is 845, but if anyone knows if it will work let me know

considering there ARE no 4 gig chips yet
(at least commercially)
it's highly unlikely

Yes this processor can work on a Dell 8200/4150, Latitude C840/C620, and a Precision M50 laptop.

Correction to my comment: Yes, it will support the Dell Inspiron 8200/4150,Latitude C640, and Precision M50 notebook series.

Note also: The Intel 845MP motherboard supports up to 2GB of memory.
