Something seems wrong about this??
At least according to IBM - but what do they know. They list the SL7E7 as a Northwood 2.8Ghz 512KB, 400Mhz FSB processor. You have it listed as a 400Mhz FSB Prescott??
I looked for it on or among your list of both Prescott & Northwood processors and don't see (ANY 400Mhz Prescott processors) as i didn't really expect to. I didn't / don't think they made any.
SO please can you verify what it is exactly and add it to the SL7EY (2.8Ghz 512, 400FSB Northwoods if that is in fact what it is. TY
I tried to do a bit more google (research) if you can call it that.
On the first four pages all the hits indicated it as the same specs as the SL7EY P4 2.8Ghz 512L2 Cache 400FSB Northwood. That includes many resellers / parts dealers.
There was one aboration and that was in an article in 2004 speculating on possible future processors and it listed it as 3.6Ghz Prescott and some type of enhanced (like Extreme addition), but curiously it listed a second Spec number something none of the others did as these were being speculated at the time.
Strongly indicates Northwood. Still not able to find it on IBM's site.
